Well it's been a busy, busy week and I can't believe it's not Friday already.
Work has been beyond insane this week. We've been finishing our annual budget which has meant some late nights & now we're in stuck in a kind of limbo, waiting to see if it will be approved.
My dad was also up for a couple days so it's been kinda cuckoo at home too even tho I've enjoyed having him here. This was his first visit since I moved into my new place & he seemed to like the accomodations, even if he had a hard time figuring out the TV setup & how to make the shower work. LOL
He came up for the Jeff Dunham show that was at the Corral last night (his Christmas present from yours truly) & judging from all the laughing on the ride home, he had a great time. It's great that the show more than lived up to its billing - that's the kind of present that gives me as much enjoyment as it does him....total win!
Now I'm looking towards a couple days at a more normal pace and some quiet time chez moi watching some Dr. Who & geeking out quietly in private. Heck, I might even manage to get caught up on my Google Reader....anything is possible! LOL
